This pie chart illustrates the purposes of traveling for college students. It shows appreciating the beauty of sceneries is students' main purpose(37%), closely followed by stress relieving(33%), Making more friends, fostering greater independence, and other purposes respectively account for 9%, 6% and 15%.
The survey reveals that most students go on a journey to enjoy the view as well as to unwind and recharge. On the one hand, better environment management of tourist destinations and innovative marketing techniques are luring students to go out of campus and come into contact with grandeur and beauty. On the other hand, students have their share of pressure coming from academic study, employment and interpersonal relationship, to which traveling is a wonderful antidote.
It's natural for college students to seek fun and enjoyment, but they should attach deeper meaning to traveling. Being immersed in local cultures, making new friends and cultivating self-reliance can make travel more fulfilling.
